PT
Project

This project represents the first large-scale research effort in Portugal to simultaneously investigate the accuracy and spread of fake news.

It will include a quantitative component, through a widely disseminated questionnaire, and a qualitative component through focus groups with entities crucial to journalism.

This evidence is key to targeting particularly vulnerable groups with appropriate policy measures.
